Terry Allen Unique youngster David Cooper came away victorious at a recent event held by Earl Shilton ABC Leicester.

The 11-year-old Lincoln-based fighter was taking on Jack Johnson from the host club in Hickley.

Johnson came out for round one with all guns blazing looking to force the pace.

However, the skilful Cooper was more than ready and made Johnson miss the target by using excellent footwork and upper body movement.

Cooper found the target with accurate counter punches to the head and body of Johnson and finished the round well on top. Round two saw Cooper picking is punches to the head and body of Johnson.

Cooper may only be 11 and only tip the scales at 35kg, but he as the skills of a far more seasoned boxer and punches way above is weight.

Johnson is a good boxer himself, but he was been handed out a boxing lesson from Cooper.

The third and final round saw Cooper controlling Johnson with ease, the Leicester boxer could not lay a glove on Cooper.

Cooper was landing with eye catching punches and after a super display of boxing skills Cooper was awarded with a well deserved unanimous points victory and takes his record to three wins from three contest.
