Puppets the order of the day
A creative day including a children's workshop and theatre performance has been arranged by the Babbling Vagabonds Storytelling Theatre Company for Saturday, September 21.
In the morning, families can join in by designing and making a shadow puppet and bring it to life in their own story. Participants will also learn all about shadow puppets – what they are, how they work and what they look like. Suitable for children over the age of 4 and their families, the workshop will be held at The National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford, 10am to noon, and led by the Babbling Vagabonds Storytelling Theatre Company.
In the afternoon, the fun moves on to the Terry O'Toole Theatre in North Hykeham, when the Babbling Vagabonds appear on stage in their production The Brothers Grimm.
Once the two brothers open their suitcase filled with stories, chaos, mayhem and magic tumble out.
