Queen night for soldiers charity
The Band of the Coldstream Guards is marching toward Lincoln Cathedral to present a night of music in honour of the Queen's Coronation on Saturday, September 21.
Directed by Major Darren Wolfendale, the band will be joined on the night by tenor Major Dennis Hannant, soprano Julija Pocema and the 120-strong Lincoln Choral Society.
The evening of music to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 60-year reign begins at 7.30pm with doors opening 15 minutes before.
All proceeds from the concert are in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund The Soldiers' Charity which provides support to serving and retired soldiers and their families.
