INTEREST in the Lincolnshire County Cricket League Premier Division tomorrow switches from the title chase to the battle to avoid relegation.

South Kelsey, who have slid down the table into the bottom two but have a game in hand on their rivals, have a home fixture with Alkborough.

The other vital clash sees third-from-bottom Horncastle host Bracebridge Heath 2nds – the side immediately above them.

Still not yet safe, Cleethorpes 2nds are at Caistor.

However, there will be no pressure on Messingham, who have already been declared champions, and they can enjoy their home derby with fifth-in-the-table Scunthorpe Town.

The Division One championship could be decided tomorrow, when the top two teams play their penultimate games of the season.

Leaders Cherry Willingham make the short trip to Mulsanne Park to take on Nettleham 2nds, who are in a must-win situation if they are to preserve slim hopes of avoiding relegation.

Second-placed Alford are at home to fifth-placed Louth 2nds.

Hykeham will be keen to win their home game against mid-table Scothern to ensure they remain clear of the danger zone.

Fourth-placed Broughton host Holton-le-Clay but know their chances of a return to the top flight are now gone.

Only one of Division Two's promotion-chasing sides are in action – fourth-placed Market Rasen.

Using up their game in hand, they visit Todmoor to take on an Owmby side keen to avoid relegation and fresh from a good win at the weekend.

It is local derby day for Haxey 2nds, who are narrowly clear of trouble. They journey across the Isle of Axholme to bottom-placed Outcasts 2nds, whose fate has already been sealed.

Mid-table sides Alkborough 2nds and Hartsholme 2nds meet up at the villagers' West Halton Lane base.

In Division Three, Stamford Homes, of Grimsby, who are searching for the victory needed to secure promotion, entertain Washingborough.

Meanwhile, Keelby visit lowly Cherry Willingham 2nds, hoping to wrap up the championship, while Matt Dobson's men seek to secure their status.

Hibaldstow, who are third, will have to win handsomely at Scunthorpe Town 2nds, then hope Stamford Homes slip up.

Immingham Blossom Way can ensure they stay in Division Three with a home triumph against Barton Town 2nds.

Division Four promotion-chasers Old Lincolnians visit mid-table Keelby 2nds, while third-ranked Alford 2nds are at lowly Brigg Town.

There's a derby at Rase Park, where Market Rasen 2nds host Caistor Town 3rds.

Teams are reminded that, under a new rule aimed at combating bad light after tea, all Lincs League games tomorrow start half-an-hour earlier. Premier Division clashes begin at 12.30pm and those in all other sections start at 1pm.
