RSPB announces 2013 birdwatching cruises on board the Boston Belle
DETAILS of this year's birdwatching cruises in The Wash have been announced.
The South Lincs RSPB have unveiled their 2013 programme of trips on board The Boston Belle.
Each cruise starts at Boston's Sluice Bridge Marina and last for up to five hours.
During 2012, more than 100 different bird species, averaging about 60 per individual cruise, were seen and seals were also seen on most cruises.

After negotiating the lock, the cruises travel down river to the Witham mouth and out into The Wash for about a mile or so.
The return journey takes cruisers along the river Welland, which is bordered on both sides by saltmarsh, including RSPB Frampton Marsh reserve where there are usually good sightings of marsh harriers and both barn owl and short-eared owls.
Refreshments are available on board.
A programme of 12 cruises has been lined up for 2013 starting on April 20 and finishing on October 12.
