Fearne will be involved with Lincoln Student Live from 10am to 12.45pm, throwing open the doors of her Live Lounge where superstar rock band 30 Seconds to Mars will join her for an exclusive session.
The band, fronted by Hollywood actor Jared Leto, will take to the stage at Lincoln's Engine Shed later that night, where they will be joined by evening presenter Zane Lowe.
Fearne said: "Going on the Radio 1 Student Tour is going to be like a university life crash course for me.
"Having never been to university, I'm looking forward to kicking back with the students and living the life in four different places in one week.
"The line-up is insane too, so all in all, it should be a cracking tour."
Ian Spenton, promotions assistant at the Engine Shed, said: "We are extremely excited and proud to be hosting such a high-profile event."
"We look forward to having one of the biggest current rock bands perform live at the Engine Shed and having Radio 1 broadcast live from the university."
Chris Charnley, president of the University of Lincoln's Student Union, said: "It's great to see these acts taking an interest in Lincoln.
"It shows the community is really developing, even during a very hard period of recession, because these great events are drawing people in.
"The city is not the easiest to get to, so the venue will be playing a big part in it. It's a combination of the building and the very welcoming community."
The tour will also stop at Northumbria, Oxford, and Bristol universities, which will see performances from the likes of Klaxons, Mark Ronson and Chase and Status.
Tickets for the 30 Seconds to Mars gig go on sale at 9am this morning, priced £17 plus a booking fee.
