Rangers run riot in Intermediate League
After six weeks of inactivity the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League returned with a combination of cup and league games.
The games in the Lincolnshire Football Association County Under-18 League saw Trentside Rangers defeat Sleaford Town 8-1 with goals coming from Oliver Bradbury (2), Callum Render (2), Rush Garfitt, James Fussey, Josh Torgoose and Ashley Hickson.
Josh Pullen grabbed a consolation for Sleaford Town.
Lincoln Moorlands Railway defeated Lincoln United 3-1 with goals coming from Adam Coddington, Alex Thompson and Daniel Cunningham. The Lincoln United goal came from Matty Jacobs.
The Jackson Workwear Rental Charity Cup third round saw Appleby Frodingham defeat Brigg Town 4-1 with goals from Jack Siddall (2), Michael Fenton and Joe Addison.
In the George Addlesee Trophy, Boston Town scored seven without reply against Rushcliffe Eagles. The goals for Town came from Daniel Thompson (3), Carl Tate (2), Luke Wilson and Liam Wright.
The other games were cancelled except Metheringham's who went down to a 2-1 defeat against Appleby Frodingham.
In the Central League, HBW United enjoyed a 5-0 win against Greenbank with Ross Redshaw (3) and Jamie Cunningham (2) scoring.
Nettleham came away from Waddington United with a 5-4 win, thanks to goals from Charlie Hodson (2), Alex Ojabo (2) and Matt Taylor.
Waddington scored through Ashley Stephenson, Jamyes Mills, Liam Cundy and Andrew Nesbit. Ruston Sports defeated Welton 4-1 with the Welton goal coming from Lawrence Marris.
Woodhall Spa and Old Leake shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw.
The South League game between Billinghay Athletic and Sibsey mustered 10 goals with Billinghay Athletic winning the game 6-4.
