Rare chance to tour Posterngate, Roman Lincoln's south gateway
Guided tours of Roman Lincoln’s south gateway are happening today.
People are being offered a rare opportunity to visit the Posterngate entrance and a large part of the south wall of Lindum Colonia, located on the corner of Bank Street.

Talks run between 10am and 4pm and last 15 minutes with a chance to take photographs.
Admission is 50p and under-fives go free. The last tour is at 3:40pm.
