A contestant in the reality television show Shipwrecked has been announced as the compere for a county beauty pageant.

Model Salema Junior- Radford will appear at Miss/Mr Natural Sparkle on Sunday, April 1. The 22-year-old is currently in the popular E4 show, which features a group of young people stranded on a tropical island.

The pageant will take place at the Pride of Lincoln Hotel, in South Hykeham.

There are five categories for girls aged 3 to 45. Boys aged between 3 and 15 can also will be split into three categories.

The event is being arranged by Lincoln mum Leanne Woodall.
