Relief for hard-up motorists with discount summer parking
Hard-up motorists will breathe a sigh of relief at discounted car park rates this summer.
A number of Lincoln car parks will charge lower rates.
Parking owned by the City of Lincoln Council and some partner car parks belonging to the county council and Lincoln College will cut their rates.

Over the upcoming bank holiday and every weekend schemes at Broadgate, Rosemary Lane, the County Council Offices and Sessions House at Lincoln College means people will pay just £2.50.
Car owners can also save at Tentercroft Street, with a £2 flat rate after 3pm.
The PayByPhone Monday incentive also gives 25 per cent off all parking prices.
Rod Williamson, city services team leader at the City of Lincoln Council, said: “The sun is out and the children are off school so it is a great time to come into the city.
"We appreciate money can be tight so are offering these schemes to help people if they are planning to come into Lincoln.
