The council said there had been a series of major improvements in the way the police and broader ASB Team work in this area, which includes the introduction of an ASB recording system used jointly by the police, all local authorities and housing associations for the comprehensive recording of all ASB cases.
Cllr Mike Gallagher, executive board member with responsibility for community safety and anti-social behaviour said: “This improvement is really positive news for the residents of North Kesteven; it demonstrates the commitment and hard work of this council and our partner agencies in promoting the services available and dealing with complaints in a timely, robust manner to ensure matters are resolved at the earliest opportunity in a professional way.
“Knowing they can rely on us reassures people that they do not have to endure the consequences of anti-social behaviour and that their problems will be resolved effectively, efficiently and to their satisfaction.
“It is clear that this, coupled with the approach NKDC takes in dealing with cases, is starting to make a difference to people’s lives, with significant improvements being recorded in the satisfaction levels for ASB.”
