A ROAD was closed for two hours after two vehicles collided.

The A46 Welton Road at Nettleham was shut off to motorists between Deepdale Lane and Horncastle Road after a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a Land Rover were in an accident.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 11.20am yesterday. The road was reopened at 1.25pm.

Lincolnshire Air Ambulance attended the incident, but no-one is believed to have caused life-threatening injuries.

Traffic heading north of the area was diverted at the Nettleham Road roundabout.
