The Almaboobies will be performing at Old Nickâs Tavern.
Organised by landlords Ross and Sally Ellis, the event will support the pub's chosen charity, When You Wish Upon A Star.
Ross said: "We've been involved in raising money for charity in many different guises and when we got here five years ago, a few of our customers had children who were terminally ill.
"We did a bit of research and decided to support this particular charity. The money that is raised locally all goes to help local children.
"We have lost the 'big society' and this one day event is the nearest we get to everyone trying to help everyone else.
"We've got about 25 regular customers who will all be lending a hand on the day running the barbecue, taking round buckets or collecting glasses."
Last year's Big Arvo event was a huge success raising £780 on the day.
In total the pub has raised more than £10,000 for the charity over the past five years.
One of the highlights of the day will be the shaving of three willing hairy bikers, all hoping to raise a substantial sum to boost the day's collections.
This year's event will see the return of Danish rockers Ford T along with The Almaboobies. Added to the line up are highly rated The Ram Raid from Grimsby plus Horncastle's very own Ruth Bell.
The day will kick of with the Old Nicks Jam Band, an eclectic mix of many musicians that are regulars to the pub's Tuesday evening jam sessions.
Headlining the event will be All Schools Are Strange and ska band True Beat will be also be travelling up from London to perform.
An added attraction will be the opportunity to try Old Nicks Tavern's very own brew called Big Arvo 5 brewed and supplied by Phil and Dawn from Fulstow Brewery.
Ross added: "This is an event for the whole family to enjoy. Our regular music nights don't get underway until 9pm but we have a lot of youngsters who are fans of the bands and this will be their chance to see them perform."
When You Wish Upon A Star has strong local connections in the area and money raised for the charity helps enable them to grants wishes for terminally ill children.
The Big Arvo 5 gets underway at 2pm and entry is by gold coin donation.
