Runway closed at East Midlands Airport
All flights are currently grounded at East Midlands Airport due to extreme weather conditions.
The runway is closed while snow is cleared and passengers are being advised to check the the status of their flights with their airline.

Flights are temporarily suspended both for take-off and landing while the snow is cleared and checks are carried out across the airfield.
East Midlands Airport are currently unsure of when flights will resume but updates will be provided.

The closure comes after up to 10cm of snow has been forecast for the East Midlands region and an amber weather warning issued by the Met Office.
