Ryan Clark moves closer to title fight showdown in Lincoln
Ryan Clark's wish for a title fight in Lincoln moved a step closer as he lined up a shot at the Midlands Area crown.
The super middleweight looks set to challenge for the vacant title next February with an opponent yet to be confirmed.
Clark says he would love to become champion in his own backyard.
"I am a Lincoln boy and to win a title here in front of family, friends and fans would mean so much to me," he said.
"If everything goes to plan it will be in February and I'm sure it would be a special night."
Clark made it three wins out of three last Friday when he knocked out Jamie Boness in one minute nine seconds.
It was a devastating display by Clark, who is feeling the benefit of intense training.
"I feel so strong at the minute," he said. "I promised a knockout and I delivered."
