"I'd like to know what I'm doing next year before the last round of the season," said the former North Kesteven School pupil.
Meanwhile, Lowes heads to Magny-Cours for the final round of World Supersport this weekend still in contention for third spot.
The 22-year-old is currently eight points behind third-placed man Fabien Foret, but said: "This season was very good at some points and not so good in others.
"For me the aim is always to be a champion so I'm not thinking at all about if I finish third or fourth overall.
"All I want is to win the last race of the season."
