Sam Lowes will start tomorrow's World Supersport race at Phillip Island on pole position after continuing his domination of the season's opening round on his Yakhnich Yamaha.
Lowes clocked 1:32.545 at the Australian circuit, a huge six tenths of a second faster than second-placed man and reigning champion Kenan Sofuoglu's Kawasaki.

Sam Lowes has bagged pole position for tomorrow's World Supersport race at Phillip Island, Australia, on his Yakhnich Yamaha.
The Lincoln rider, who also dominated testing and practice at Phillip Island this week, could have gone even faster had he not been held up slightly on his fastest lap.
The race, in the early hours of tomorrow morning UK time, has been shortened to 15 laps because of tyre concerns on the relaid surface.

However, that does not concern Lowes, who completed several race-length runs during testing.
