Sarah's support for nephew Callum will be hair to stay
A SUPPORTIVE aunt from Sleaford had her head shaved on Saturday in support of her nephew who had lost his hair following chemotherapy.
Sarah Vidler, 34, made the drastic decision after her 14-year-old nephew Callum was worried about losing his own hair when he was diagnosed with Leukaemia nine weeks ago.
Sarah said: "As the hair came off it was very scary not knowing how it was going to look, but my hair will grow back soon – I hope!
"I'm so pleased with the amount we have raised I really didn't think we would get this much."

Sarah had her head shaved in Moneys Mill carpark on Saturday morning to a crowd of people who were there supporting.
Through shaving her head Sarah has so far raised more than £500 for two charities – The Teenage Cancer Trust and Candle Lighters which is a Yorkshire based charity that provides essential services and support to children with cancer and their families.
Sarah said: "Callum will be having chemotherapy for the next three years and will be prone to infection so most of his time will be spent in hospital.
"I can't help him fight this but I can help the people who do provide the help by giving to these charities."
Callum was initially taken into hospital for tests after he had been complaining of feeling tired and an eye test found he had an enlarged retina.
He is currently being treated in hospital in Leeds but travelled to Sleaford with his mum for the weekend.
Sarah's hairdresser, Yazmin Constantine from Limitless in Sleaford, took time out of her lunch break to shave Sarah's hair on Saturday.
