The weather once again was the winner in the Lincolnshire Intermediate League on Sunday with only four games going ahead.

All the cup matches were lost and will need to be rearranged yet again.

Saxilby Athletic had a good win, 8-2 against Sleaford Town in the Premier League.

Adam Robinson netted four of Saxilby's goals, Shaun Barnes hit a hat-trick and Tom Saxby got the other.

Sleaford's goals came from Luke Bresihan and Tom Coghill.

The other games were in the Central League.

Manor United gained a 3-0 defeat over Old Leake with goals coming from Ryan Ashworth, Liam Barker and Ricky Smith.

Metheringham had a 4-1 home win over Welton with Glenn Marr and Adam Swales getting a couple of goals each. Ollie Thorne got the sole Welton goal.

Ruston Sports won 2-0 against Greenbank with Lee Skepper and Matthew Dale getting the goals.
