THE second meeting of the Target Business Breakfast Club takes place next month, following on from its hugely successful launch.

Around 30 businesses sent representatives to September's inaugural meeting, which was hosted by O'Connell's Restaurant.

Nicky Elding, South East Target field sales manager, said: "It's a really good opportunity for the business people of Sleaford and the surrounding community to come together.

"Our members benefit from regular networking opportunities, learning what is on offer to businesses locally, how they can benefit from trading locally and much more.

"This can only be of benefit to the local economy in the long run, especially given the current financial circumstances."

The club was launched with the backing of Sleaford Town Council.

Debbie Scott, Sleaford development manager, said: "It was really good to see such a good turnout and such a wide range of businesses represented.

"It is good to be raising awareness of the business-to-business opportunities in the Sleaford area."

The club will meet over breakfast bi-monthly to give members a chance to network and develop inter-trading links.

Membership is open to all businesses in the Sleaford and surrounding areas.

Charitable organisations and other business-related groups are also welcome to attend.

Admission costs £2 and includes a light breakfast.

The next meeting will take place on Friday, November 6, at O'Connells, Mill Court, Sleaford, from 7.30am.
