Showcase event helps to promote community groups
THIS year's Boston Community Showcase takes place in Central Park from 10am to 4pm on September 12.
Now in its fifth year, the popular event gives community and voluntary groups a chance to promote themselves and they will man more than 100 stalls.

Boston Community Showcase is on Sunday in Central Park.
Live bands and entertainment will include Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra, arts, crafts, games and activities, dance workshops, drama recitals and a food court.
There will also be activities for young people, food, a mini funfair and many other attractions.
The event is organised through a partnership made up of South Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (CVS), Boston Mayflower, North Sea Camp, Age Concern, Boston Borough Council, Hearing Dogs, Lincolnshire Police and TaylorITEX.
South Lincs CVS Boston community development officer Mandy Exley told the Target: "The partnership is quite unique in the fact we all have our skills to bring to the table and just get on with the job.
"It really is an excellent example of partnership working.
"We are fortunate in having professional events manager Pete Booth who gives of his time voluntarily and sees to all the health and safety aspects, organises the site plan, connects all electricity in the park and oversees the erection of the marquee.
"Without all the in-kind contributions from volunteers and the partners the event would cost £64,000 to stage instead of the £12,500 we currently budget for."
