More than 4,000 tickets, including season tickets, have been sold for Lincoln City's clash at home to Hereford United tomorrow night (7.45pm).

The League Two match is the first game at Sincil Bank since the death of former Imps boss Keith Alexander last Wednesday.

Supporters at the game will also get the chance to catch a glimpse of the World Cup trophy, which will be paraded at Sincil Bank by one of England's 1966 World Cup heroes Martin Peters.

"The game provides the chance for people to see the World Cup but they will want to come down to the game to pay their respects to Keith Alexander as well," said Imps spokesman Rob Noble.

"Keith was a fantastic servant to the club and Coca-Cola (providers of the World Cup Trophy Tour) are allowing the club to use their big screen before the game, which will enable us to play a video in memory of him.

"We are advising supporters to arrive early."

Any supporter buying a ticket will be placed into a draw which could see them win a chance to have their photograph taken with the World Cup.

Several names have already been drawn out but a further draw will be made in the first half and the winners will have their picture taken in the second half.
