Skegness girl Jaime-Leigh Paley stars in ITV series The Magaluf Weekender

A dancer and promotions girl from Skegness has landed a major role in new ITV reality series 'The Magaluf Weekender'.

Jaime-Leigh Paley, 22, features as a holiday rep on the six-part documentary that follows the exploits of 18-24-year-olds holidaying in Magaluf, Mallorca.

The show sees two new groups of young British holidaymakers enjoy three days of partying each episode, guided by Jaime-Leigh and three other reps.

Fixed cameras spread around the resort with the absence of crews were designed to capture unguarded moments, everywhere from inside clubs to the bedroom.

Episode one which aired on ITV 2 at 9pm on January 6 involved lap dancing, nudity, urinating on the bedroom floor and an eye-opening trip on a party boat.

This week Jaime-Leigh is featured more heavily when she is involved in a heated dispute with another rep, ending up with a drink thrown in her face.

The Skegness girl is billed as taking a while to warm to Magaluf but lets her hair down with two holiday romances, one with a male guest and another with a single mother.

She said: "I've been involved in entertaining for a while, also working in Paris, Ibiza and Cancun and when I saw the show advertised, I just thought why not?

"I found Magaluf difficult to warm to, I was used to doing more activities such as sport and shows and looking after the guests but Magaluf is more about drinking and being one of the tourists.

"It is grim and gritty and you see everything, including intercourse in the streets.

"I don't think the show portrays me in the nicest of lights, seeming above it all, although when I signed up for a rep position I thought I'd have an idea of what it involved but it was completely different and I didn't want to need STI checks.

"My boss on the show, Brett Hamilton was my rock and helped me to let my hair down and the show has taught me its OK to make mistakes.

"Family and friends are really excited about it all and I'm not nervous about them seeing the show, I've been very open about being bi-sexual and I wasn't doing anything really wrong."

Jaime-Leigh is currently on a year out from studying Event Management and Spanish at the University of Hertfordshire, working in London- dancing and promoting in various bars and clubs.

Before she returns she is hoping to travel abroad for the summer and said: "I like city breaks but for a girl's holiday I would probably go somewhere like Magaluf but you wouldn't see me vomiting in the streets.

"I think it is fine for people to go out, do what they want and embrace it while they can but nobody wants to fall off a quad bike and come back with a disease."
