Skegness ice pick killer jailed for nine and a half years
A Skegness man who admitted killing another man with an ice pick has been jailed for nine and a half years.
Jamie Rawson struck Peter Schruyers three times with the weapon after waiting for him to arrive at a friend's flat in Wainfleet Road, Skegness.

Mr Schruyers, 31, never regained consciousness after one of the blows went though his skull, and died five days later at a hospital in Nottingham.
The two men had earlier exchanged angry phone calls before both turned up armed at the flat.

Rawson, 22, of no fixed address, had previously denied a charge of murder after Mr Schruyers died on August 15, 2011, but admitted manslaughter.
Following Mr Schruyers death his family released a short statement in which they said: "Peter was a much loved son, brother and father, who will be sadly missed by all the family."
