SKEGNESS' Wilkinson store is to close for two days next week while it receives a makeover.

The home and garden retailer at the Hildred's Centre in Skegness is to be refurbished as part a nationwide initiative to invest in local towns and refresh existing stores throughout the UK.

The Skegness store, will close its doors at 5.30pm on Monday February 15, and unveil a new look store to the public on Thursday February 18.

To mark the occasion, an official re-opening ceremony will take place and children will be entertained by a face painter, who will be in store from 10am to 4pm and staff will be handing out sweets and balloons throughout the day.
