Miss Jennings of Powley Road, Sheffield was arrested by police officers on Saturday, May 30 after being caught exceeding the 4mph speed limit.
Magistrates fined her £66 for the speeding offence and a further £66 for inconsiderate boating.
She was also ordered to pay £200 costs and the £15 Government surcharge.
Spokesman for British Waterways Jenny Histead said this is the first speeding prosecution in Lincolnshire for three years.
However Ms Histead was unable to confirm the speed in which Ms Jennings was travelling or the make of her boat.
"The main issue was the wash she was creating when travelling through at speed," said Ms Histead.
Sean McGinley, acting general manager of British Waterways, said that boats travelling at excessive speed can cause problems by rocking moored boats and causing damage to river banks.
"Whilst we want to encourage people to enjoy Lincolnshire's waterways the behaviour of this individual was unacceptable," said Mr McGinley.
"The waterways are there for everybody and where inappropriate behaviour of individuals is threatening the safety of enjoyment of others we will take the necessary action."
