Sleaford Sports Association appeal for sponsor of football club’s facilities
THE charity which runs the site of Sleaford Town Football Club is calling out for support from local businesses to sponsor the on-going facilities at the site.
Sleaford Sports Association was launched in 2007 when the site at Boston Road was opened for business and the trustees are made up of volunteers who manage the financial and planning decisions to keep improving the site’s facilities.

Paul Ellis, treasurer of Sleaford Sports Association said: “We are looking for local businesses to sponsor, with accreditation, the on-going upkeep of the facility for a relatively small financial investment year on year.”
The group are continually organising fund-raising events to help towards the upkeep such as the bonfire night celebrations, race nights, social evenings and family fun days in the summer but are always in need of additional support.

Mr Ellis added: “This is such a well-used facility and it would be great to get more local people involved and any potential sponsors would get exposure for their business on boards, letterheads and publicity leaflets.”
As well as the football club the site is also home to the junior and ladies football clubs, the Sleaford Striders, Eslaford Park Bowls Club and Sleaford Maltsters Archery Club.
The clubhouse is used for meetings and training courses for Sleaford businesses and national businesses requiring an off-site venue and it is also used for parties and gatherings.
For anyone who is interested in this type of sponsorship please contact Sue Hamblin on 07581 337121 or Paul Ellis on 07970 522150 to arrange an inspection of the running of the facility.
