Spencer Weir-Daley wary of Skrill North new-boys' winning mentality
Spencer Weir-Daley has warned his Boston United team-mates they will face two sides with a “winning mentality” this weekend.
The Pilgrims continue their tough start to the season by hosting Leamington on Saturday before travelling to early leaders North Ferriby on Bank Holiday Monday.
The pair were champions of their respective leagues last season and both, like Boston, have begun their Skrill North campaigns in impressive style.
Weir-Daley believes the Brakes and the Villagers will play with same ‘no fear’ attitude United had after winning promotion to the division in 2010.

“We know more about North Ferriby because they have a lot of players who have played in this league,” said Weir-Daley.
“As for Leamington, we don’t know too much about them. But what we do know is that they’re going to be two tough games. We won’t be taking them lightly.
“They’ve both come up with a winning mentality. When we got promoted, we had that and didn’t fear anybody.
“And look at Brackley last season. They came up, played with no fear and made the play-offs.
“They are going to be tough, tough games. In fact, if you look at the fixture list, there are no easy games in the division this season.”
Former United winger Jamie Yates could feature in Ferriby’s line-up after joining from Gainsborough Trinity over the summer.
