Stamford Big Wheel featured in World's Fair magazine
South Kesteven has been the focus of national media again thanks to one of its popular entertainment attractions during last year's festive period.
World's Fair magazine featured the 1950s Big Wheel that visited Stamford and then Grantham's new Christmas Fair in December.

The attraction opened in Stamford's Bath Row on December 9th and then travelled to Grantham on December 13th to take up residence for two weeks on The Green, close to the Guildhall Arts Centre.
Thousands of people in the district enjoyed the wheel and fairground attractions that included Freddie Meakin's ladybirds and traditional coconut shies, decked out in festive tinsel.

Showmen and owners of the wheel, Robert Mallyon and Mr Meakin, identified the small strip of land in Grantham - adjacent to South Kesteven District Council's offices on St Peter's Hill - as an ideal space to host the event.
Leader of the Council Cllr Linda Neal said the feature was another thumbs-up for the town following coverage of the district in the Sunday Times that posted Grantham in the top 20 places on commuter lines out of London.
She said: "We're always looking for ways to promote our district in a positive way.
"We have been successful having the town featured in the Sunday Times, closely followed by this article in World's Fair.
"It's another example of how the secret is getting out that we have a great district where people want to live, work and visit."
The Big Wheel may have been familiar to residents in the district having featured prominently in Grantham's Westgate for the town's annual Mid-Lent Fair up to the 1990s.
The wheel's arrival at the fair was the first time it had appeared in the town in the 21st century.
