Stamford's annual Santa Fun Run attracts more than 700 entrants
More than 700 Santas descended on Stamford's Burghley Park this morning.
The Rotary Club of Stamford Burghley's annual 5k charity fund-raising Santa Fun Run attracted 722 entrants, almost 200 more than last year, including 55 teams.

Open to all ages and abilities the field was made up of serious runners, joggers, walkers and parents pushing prams.
There were also plenty of dogs, many dressed in festive attire, and their owners.

Entrants are invited to collect for their own worthy cause as a team or as an individual supporting the rotary club's charities.
All those taking part received a medal for completing the course as a momento of the event, now in its sixth year.
"We've had a fabulous morning and we are delighted with the number of people who have entered to raise money for lots of worthy causes," rotarian Clive Adkin told stamfordpeople.
Although the fun run is not a race, the first across the finishing line was James Farnbrough, of Stamford, who was running to raise funds for Ryhall United Football Club.
James said: "This is the first time I've taken part in the event and I'm really surprised to be the first to finish.
"It's been great fun."
Second to finish was Stamford Striders member Mark Popple, with Ryan Mills - who only entered the event yesterday - in third place and Stamford School pupil George Hunt-Pain in fourth.
Last year 542 runners took part in the Santa Fun Run and raised more than £17,900 for their own individual causes or charities.
The final figure raised this year will not be known until February 2013.
This year the the Rotary Club of Stamford Burghley is supporting the Carers Sitter Service in the Stamford area, Stamford Food Bank and Osprey Migration Foundation which educates children in Gambia on the need to protect their natural environment.
The Stamford Santa Run benefits greatly from the input, hard work and encouragement of its supporters who this year included Anne Corder Recruitment, Cummins Generator Technologies and Mark Buttress Creative Design.
