Student wants local older actor to star in short film in Boston
FOLLOWING hot on the heels of British Oscar success, budding actors are being given the chance to star in a film being made on location in the Boston area.
The producer is looking for a cast member to play the part of Amelia, a woman aged around 75.
Sara-Lee Simpson, of Church Road, Boston, a former St Nicholas Primary School and Boston High School pupil, is in her final year at Coventry University, studying for a media production degree.
Her final project will be a short film set in the past and the present, telling of the romance between a young woman and a young RAF pilot killed during the Second World War.

Filming is due to take place in Boston, Butterwick and Freiston. Parts have been cast for the two younger players and the search is on for an older actress.
Sara-Lee said: “My idea is to link the film to the historical events that went on in Lincolnshire during the war.
Not only will the film be a drama, but it'll also be historically correct and promote the Lincolnshire area during its war years, and the RAF bases.”
Women who can act, aged between 65 and 85, need to be available for filming on Sunday, March 24, and possible Monday, March 25. They should contact Sara-Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org
