Survivor will tell holocaust story to educate others
Holocaust survivor Simon Winston, above, will be telling his story as people in Lincoln mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
The event, on January 25, is at 6.30pm at Swallowbeck Methodist Church, in Newark Road.

Organiser Steve Griffiths, from the Lincoln and District branch of the Council of Christians and Jews, said: "I call on all those who are interested in combating racial hatred, intolerance, anti-Semitism and ethnic bigotry to attend.
"They do not have to be a member of CCJ."

The aim of the meeting is to remember those who died on the various Holocausts that occurred in the 20th century and to educate present generation about these events.
The term Holocaust is principally applied to and denotes the loss of 6 million Jews at the hands of the Nazis during the Second World War.
Holocaust Memorial Day was established on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, and also honours and remembers those who perished in the Cambodian killing fields, the bushlands of Rwanda, the forests of Bosnia and the parched scrublands of Dafur.
