A fire at a block of flats in Lincoln is being treated as arson.

Fire crews attended a small blaze at Shuttleworth House in Stamp End, Lincoln, at around 8pm on Saturday night and notified police that they suspected the fire was deliberate.

The fire was started in a store cupboard away from the residential areas of the building and was quickly extinguished.

Although the fire is being treated as arson, the location was such that the residents were not at risk of harm.

Lincolnshire Police for anyone with any information about the offence to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 542 of February 4.
