Suspended Spencer Weir-Daley backs Boston United ahead of Gainsborough Trinity clash
SPENCER Weir-Daley admits it will hurt to miss Saturday's county derby with Gainsborough Trinity, but has backed the Pilgrims to cope in his absence.
Weir-Daley and Ben Fairclough will sit out Boston's next three games after being sent off during the FA Cup defeat to Altrincham earlier this month.

The pair will also miss the FA Trophy clash with Colwyn Bay and the following game, which will either be a Trophy replay or the home league game against Guiseley.
Being without two key players will test Jason Lee's young squad, but Weir-Daley insists United have the strength in depth to cope.

"There are people who can play in a number of positions.
"Hopefully the team will do well and we'll be in a good position when we're ready to come back into the team."
Weir-Daley admits it will be hard to watch Saturday's derby, a game he was relishing.
"It's a shame I'll be missing that. It's been rearranged for a Saturday and it will be a good atmosphere," he added.
"It's a local derby and it hurt me straight away when I saw the fixtures.
"So it is disappointing, but I'm sure we can get a positive result."
Matt Wilson has left the Pilgrims and returned to parent club Alfreton after his loan spell was cut short due to injury.
