Meanwhile, a fallen tree on the road at just before 6am this morning on the A631 10 miles east of Gainsborough means that the stretch between Harpswell roundabout and the Hemswell village turnoff is expected to be closed until at least 9am.
There are also roadworks across the county where congestion is likely at peak periods now the bank holiday weekend is over.
In Lincoln there are roadworks on Newark Road between the Tritton Road and Moor Lane junctions, plus Brant road.
The A15 Wragby Road also has temporary lights and Monks Road is closed between Broadgate and Jellicoe Avenue for sewer repairs.
There are still roadworks on the A52 Bridge end Road in Grantham, A607 Sleaford Road at Leadenham, A17 at Heckington, A631 South Elkington and A16 at Spalding, between the Wardentree Lane and Springfield roundabouts.
