TRAVEL: Trains from Nottingham to Lincoln and Skegness back on track
Train services to Skegness and Lincoln from Nottingham resumed yesterday after a two-week suspension.
Special hourly services have been launched by East Midlands Trains to resume the link between the cities and the east coast resort.
But the engineering works, involving new signalling and track-laying at Nottingham will continue until a full service is expected to be restored on Monday,

Meanhile, there are roadworks across Lincolnshire which will cause delays to motorists today.
Major roadworks and temporary traffic lights will hold up traffic on the A1434 Newark Road in Lincoln at the Brant Road junction.
Temporary traffic lights remain on the A15 Wragby Road in Lincoln at the B1182 Ruskin Avenue junction.
There are also junction improvements on the A52 Bridge End Road and London Road in Grantham town centre at the Springfield Road junction.
Roadworks on the A57 at the Bishop Bridge East and Bishop Bridge West junction mean there is a speed restriction in both directions west of Lincoln because of bridge maintenance work.
Water main work has led to the installation of temporary traffic lights on A607 Cliff Road in Welbourn near the Hall Lane junction.
