“I am tending to agree with Vulcanimp, just wish Holdsworth would stop being a flipping "dinosaur" and change his tactics. As for Mills missing the next 3 games, admittedly, I have only attended 2 games so far this season, but for me, he hasn't shown anything to get me excited as yet, and looks a little "thick" around the middle, so I don't think he will be missed.

More importantly, we need to stop conceding goals. We have only succeeded in achieving this feat just the once so far in the league this season.

That is why I find it strange when people on here say that we need a goal scorer! and our defence is "solid and strong" yet we have only drawn a blank just once in ten games, which was on Saturday, and like I said, kept just one clean sheet!

Stop conceding, then you always have a chance of nicking a goal and walking away with all 3 points.

I also here people "slaughtering" Bore, which, for me is a tad unjust considering he is a "right back" and as yet not played in that position, yet Gray who is a midfielder, playing at right back.”

When most first choice players are fit and playing will be a better time to judge DH on his own performance. “DelrioImp yes I do take your point, I was being a tad cynical, as I would rather see someone with new, modern tactics, a sense of vibrancy, rather than another "old school" manager, that manages players in the same manner as he was managed, dating back to the 30's. Someone to break "the mould" as it were.

With regards to John Ward, when you say he knows "this club well",to my knowledge he hasn't had any involvement with Lincoln City for some 30 years now, the club of today would be very different from those days.


His managerial experience is not exactly great either, so for me, he is not someone who would jump out at me to be honest.

No, if Holdsworth is shown the door, I would like to see a young manager with a modern way of thinking, and modern style of management, and not some old dinosaur, or young manager with dinosaur tactics and management style.”
