New signing Paul Turnbull was handed his Lincoln City debut this afternoon as they looked to dent Forest Green Rovers' promotion push.
The Northampton midfielder has signed a loan deal until the end of the season as Imps boss David Holdsworth attempted to ease a crisis in his engine room with Alan Power, Mo Fofana and Gary Mills out injured.

Turnbull started alongside former Rovers midfielder Jake Thomson in the middle of the park as Lincoln made five changes to the team which lost 4-2 against Newport.
Elsewhere Andrew Boyce dropped to the substitutes' bench as Scott Garner, on loan from Cambridge, returned to partner Tom Miller at centre-back.
