Teenager arrested after Gainsborough pensioner is robbed on his own doorstep
A teenager has been arrested by police investigating an incident in which a 79-year-old pensioner was allegedly robbed on his own doorstep.
The elderly man was followed home after buying milk and a newspaper in Gainsborough just before 8am on Wednesday, October 31.

His wallet and contents were taken when he reached the back door of his house in Melrose Road, off Ropery Road in the town.
Police who issued CCTV images of a man they wished to interview have said that an 18-year-old local youth has now been arrested in relation to the robbery.

He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
