"They have done such an amazing job by saving my nephew's life and giving us a new member to the family so I would like to say a big thank you to the hospital by raising money to save more baby's lives."
Ollie set off from Boston Stump at 9am with his friend Shannon Darrigan.
The pair kept on going until they reached Lincoln Cathedral at 3.20pm.
Ollie said: "It was a day that will never leave my memory as the thing that kept me going was the picture of my little nephew.
"When I was so tired and just wanted to stop I looked at him and carried on fighting as he is fighting in hospital."
So far Ollie has raised £800 with the total still climbing.
Ollie added: "Evan is now doing fantastically well and my brother Joe and his partner, Stacey, are going to be fantastic parents to a beautiful little baby and they're in my heart throughout everyday."
