Tickets on sale for punk band The Stranglers at Lincoln's Engine Shed
Tickets are now on sale for iconic punk band The Stranglers at Lincoln's Engine Shed.
Best-known for their hit singles Golden Brown and Always the Sun, the band will play the city venue on Friday, March 8.

The Stranglers released their debut album Rattus Norvegicus in 1977 and in March 2012 they put out Giants, their first new album in six years.
During the summer, The Stranglers also played to thousands of fans at major festivals across the country, including V Festival, Hop Farm and Isle of Wight.

The gig which takes place at the Engine Shed, on the University of Lincoln's Brayford campus, is part of a mammoth 22-date tour which also includes stops at Nottingham's Rock City and the Leeds O2 Academy.
Doors for the gig open at 7pm. Tickets cost £25.30, including booking fee.

“I've heard of this lot! I won't be wasting my money going to see them though. The good thing about being an old fogey (as the ofsprings say) is that my kind of music is usually free on the High street or Market Square on a Friday or Saturday!”
