Touching production inspired by local history
THE Riverside Writers are to present their new play Write on the River tomorrow (Saturday).
It will be performed by the Gainsborough-based Kismet Theatre Company.
A funny, touching and surprising new play, it has been inspired by the people and history of Gainsborough and the Trent Vale.
Its first performance is taking place at 7pm for 7.30pm in Lea Village Hall.
This dramatised rehearsed reading is open to the public – admission free – and places are strictly limited to 70 guests.
The partnership programme is part of the Vales Tales and Trent Vale Landscape Partnership Project.
