Train barrier chaos to hit Lincoln's High Street over coming weekends
Lincoln will see huge delays because the barriers will be down for six extra trains each hour - for seven consecutive weekends.
Additional trains from the East Coast Main Line will be diverted through Lincoln over the coming weekends.
It means the train barriers will be down for much longer than normal.
It is because six trains per hour will be diverted through Lincoln on Saturdays between 1pm and 10.45pm.

The same amount will also pass through on Sunday between 9.30am and 1pm.
The barriers will close to allow the six extra trains to pass through each hour, on top of normal train services.
The Lincoln High Street barriers will be badly affected.
The trains will be diverted through the city for a total of seven weeks in a row, starting from this weekend.
They will continue on September 21 and 22, 28 and 29.
The diversions through Lincoln will then carry on through every weekend in October.
Freight trains and other traffic will pass through.
