Training cash offer to firms
Lincoln MP Karl McCartney is urging city businesses to apply for cash for training schemes.
A total of £150 million is available in the second round of the Employee Ownership Pilot, which provides funding for flexible training directly to employers.
The pilot has already seen £2.9 million committed to projects across the Midlands, including pre-employment training, extending apprenticeships to supply chains and increasing the number of female apprenticeships.
Mr McCartney said: "Investing is employee training is a smart move for any company."
