Tyre firms getting to grips with their new joint venture
A state-of-the-art tyre and exhaust facility is set to open at the Pelham Centre, in Lincoln, creating six new jobs with a promise of more to come.
ZR Tyres Limited is a newly formed joint venture by two leading Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire companies.
It represents a corporate marriage between Newark-based Tanvic Group Limited and BA Bush Limited, based in Horncastle.
The two well-known regional tyre and exhaust companies have secured a ten-year lease on unit seven of the Pelham Centre for their new outlet, with the help of Lincoln- based chartered surveyors Hodgson Elkington LLP.

A "six-figure sum" will be invested to transform the premises, formerly occupied by Autofox, and install the latest garage equipment. ZR Tyres is then expected to be open in April.
The Pelham Centre has more than 160 parking spaces and is owned by Howtin Investments Ltd.
It is already home to Machine Mart, Portland Tools, Elixir Bathrooms, Mattressman, John Cheatle and Party Planet, as well as the headquarters for the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and Lincoln College.
Steve McCraken, one of the directors of ZR Tyres, said that a similar joint-venture company set up in High Wycombe had proven to be a success.
He added: "We feel very optimistic about the future of this new business. It is a natural progression of the strong relationship the two companies have developed and we look forward to a bright future ahead serving the motoring public of Lincoln and the surrounding area.
"We will be investing a six-figure sum into completely refurbishing and installing new garage equipment.
"Six new jobs will be created initially and we would expect more as business develops."
Dan Race, partner at Hodgson Elkington, said: "The business will be ideally situated adjacent to the Pelham Bridge dual carriageway, one of the busiest roads in Lincolnshire.
"With the proven track record of two well established and respected businesses, both in private ownership and located midway between their respective homelands, ZR Tyres has the potential to be very successful.
"We wish them well."
