Travel agent Thomson has confirmed that no staff were injured during the armed robbery at its Boston branch this morning.
They added that no customers were in the store at the time and that Thomson's Retail Incident Support Manager had been on hand to offer assistance to staff involved.
A shopper, who does not wish to be named, said: “The man ran down the alley with a gun in hand and in to the travel agents. Soon after, he ran out the back door, with the gun still on show.”
