University in top 25%
ACCOUNTING at the University of Lincoln has been ranked top of the class for the second year running.
The results of this year's National Student Survey were the best ever for Lincoln, with ten of its courses ranking in the top ten nationally.
The university has also risen up the institutional rankings, moving to 36th place for combined subject and overall student satisfaction, out of 153 higher education institutions.
This places the University of Lincoln in the top 25 per cent of all higher education institutions in the UK.
While accounting tops the table, more of Lincoln's business courses have scored well, with tourism and marketing ranking second in its field and the business studies and management programmes each ranking fifth.
Art programmes also faired well, with fine art ranking second nationally and design ranking sixth.
The university's sociology and journalism courses ranked at seventh and eighth in their respective fields.
