University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste students among the most-satisfied in the country
Students have rated the University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste University College among the best in the country for satisfaction.
Both institutions were ranked in the top quarter of higher education institutions by final year graduates in the National Student Survey, published this morning.

And Bishop Grosseteste University College, also based in Lincoln, rose five points on last year from 84 per cent to 89 per cent.
Several of the university's subject areas were ranked in the top ten nationally - and it's accountancy programme was ranked number one for the fourth year running.

Meanwhile, Bishop Grosseteste had three of its degree courses ranked in the top three nationally - with English and education studies both ranked first and drama ranked third.
Professor Scott Davidson, deputy vice chancellor at the university, said: "The results of this year's National Student Survey are great news for the university and also for our current and prospective students.
"They show that our undergraduates appreciate the great efforts our dedicated staff make to ensure they enjoy the best possible student experience during their time here.
"We have a wonderful campus at Lincoln, set in a beautiful and historic small city.
"The strength of any university is based upon the relationship between its staff and students, but ultimately, it is the students who judge us on how well we meet their needs and their expectations.
"At Lincoln, students are an integral part of the discussion about how we actually develop the university. They have their voice heard at all levels on the institution and their interests are full represented by our excellent students' union."
The survey also revealed that many students at the University of Lincoln felt strongly that their studies had helped them to become more confident and better able to present themselves. And most agreed that teaching and learning in the university was of a good standard, or better.
Students were also pleased with the learning resources available and that they had access to IT equipment, library materials and other facilities when they needed it.
Meanwhile, Bishop Grosseteste's principal, professor Muriel Robinson, said: "There are lots of higher education league tables out there but the National Student Survey is an accurate measure of what students really think about their degree course, their facilities and their tutors.
"We're extremely pleased that the level of satisfaction among our students has increased still further since last year and we're delighted that our courses are now being singled out as excellent.
"However, we will never rest on our laurels and we will continue to make improvements in all areas of BG to ensure that satisfaction among out students continues to rise."
The National Student Survey has been conducted annually since 2005 and asks final year graduates to provide feedback on their courses, covering teaching, academic support, learning resources, personal development and overall satisfaction.
