Ten-year-old singing sensation Shanais Marks from Cherry Willingham has made it through to the regional finals of the Open Mic UK talent contest.
She wooed judges with her cover version of Emeli Sande’s ‘Suitcase.
The Nettleham Junior School pupil is hoping her next performance at Sheffield City Hall on September 29 will win her a place in the national final at The O2 arena in London.
Mum Shelley Marks said: “It would be amazing if she got a place in the national final but I think she’s done really well to get this far.
