VIDEO: Pest control owner finds False Black Widow spider in Lincolnshire
The owner of a Lincolnshire pest control company has found a False Black Widow spider.
But rather than disposing of it, he has kept and videoed the creature – and even named it.
Trevor Brighton, who runs Lincspest Ltd, says he is getting three to four calls a day from panicked residents petrified of the creepy crawlies.
He is rescuing residents from the spiders, after they have sent in photos to him and identified as the real thing.

Mr Brighton and his son Ben found the False Black Widow in Kirton, on October 22.
After identifying it, he took it back to his home.
He has named it ‘Harry’ and plans to release it into the wild, to follow others that he has also saved from scared residents.
“My son Ben found it, somebody rang up and said they might have one,” he said.
“Ben managed to entice it out and put it in a jar.
"We’ve kept him still on my desk and he looks quite healthy.”
Increasing reports of the creepy crawlies in Lincolnshire have been coming in, as the spiders seek out warmth in houses.
“I don’t think they are particularly a problem but there are a lot more out there than people realise,” Mr Brighton explained.
“We have seen it escalate this week from nothing to three or four calls a day.
"They have a backward round Y shape on their back, also have a creamy coloured band around their abdomen.
“We’ve been living with them for years. Like anything, it is awareness.”
However Mr Brighton believes the spiders, which have a painful bite, are here to stay in Lincolnshire.
“We will never get rid of them, they are here to stay now,” he added.
“Unless nature gets rid of them with an incredibly cold winter which kills things off, we have got to learn to live with them.”
